What the numbers show
Africa's Development Dynamics (AfDD) Table 05 - Demographic estimates — Population is currently reported for 175 countries. The highest value is 7.18 million Persons in World outside Africa; the lowest is 13.21 Persons in Tuvalu.
The median across all reporting countries is 11,902 Persons, and the mean is 117,034 Persons.
Over the past decade 131 countries rose and 44 fell. The largest increase was in Niger (up 35.3%), and the largest decrease in Bulgaria (down 9.4%).
